The Toscana Film Commission attended the US presentation in New York of Miracle of Saint Anna, by Spike Lee, inspired by a novel written by James McBride.

The movie was almost entirely filmed in the province of Lucca.

The story takes place in Tuscany in 1944, 4 American Soldiers are behind enemy lines at Sant’Anna di Stazzema and one of them risks his life to save a young Italian boy …

Spike Lee will be present for the first European projection in Florence tomorrow September 30th at the Cinema Odeon.
