Si chiama Classico è, ed è un’iniziativa voluta dal Consorzio del Chianti Classico per avvicinare i turisti (e non solo) a uno dei vini toscani più famosi al mondo.

Dal 30 maggio al 6 giugno 2009 prenderanno il via una serie di degustazioni, visite guidate, concerti jazz, happy hour, cene a tema, mostre che avranno come argomento comune appunto il Chianti Classico. Oltre 100 cantine apriranno le loro porte per far degustare e acquistare i vini più buoni di tutta la Toscana.

Per gli eno-appassionati sono in programma degustazioni guidate da prestigiose firme del giornalismo enologico nazionale, che vedranno protagonista assoluto il Chianti Classico e le sue peculiarità viste attraverso lo scorrere del tempo o la varietà del territorio: al Museo del Vino a Greve in Chianti saranno Gianni Fabrizio (Gambero Rosso), Ernesto Gentili (I Vini d’Italia – L’Espresso), Daniel Thomases (I vini di Veronelli) ed Eleonora Guerini (Gambero Rosso) a condurre esperti e amanti del buon bere in un avvincente viaggio tra grandi annate ed etichette meno conosciute.

Da non perdere il weekend dedicato alle degustazioni on the Road a Radda in Chianti il 6 e 7 giugno per le vie della cittadina toscana e la “Pentecoste a Castellina” nei giorni 31 maggio – 1 giugno 2009.
