The Foundation for Environment Education (FEE) has recently classified and published the list of beaches awarded blue flags, in other words beaches with the cleanest waters.

According to this list Tuscany has been awarded 12 blue flags and ranks 3^rd as one of the best seaside locations with the cleanest waters.
